Recently released data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show variability in coronary heart disease prevalence in and around Rochester. While many zip codes show rates of fewer than 5%, others show rates of 10% or greater.

These higher rates are seen both in urban and rural zip codes and are unadjusted for population size. Explore these data in the RocHealthData map room.
Data are from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), a collaborative project of the CDC and U.S. states and territories. These BRFSS data are updated regularly and available at a variety of geographic specificities. For more information about these data and data collection, visit the CDC site.
